This is a false and inaccurate interpretation, and Achebe's objectivity is hindered by his anti-western bias. In my opinion, after all the occurrences I have mentioned, Conrad appears not to be a racist. I see him as a man caught in a time of some terrible injustice/prejudice, but not a man who exploited a race for his benefit.
