Book Reviews & Book Reports
Many students do not distinguish between book reviews and book reports and often mix up these two terms. If you are assigned to write a report or a review of a specific book you should know some important differences.
A book report consists completely of facts such as information on the author, title, place and year of publication. After including this basic information the writer summarizes the content of the book.
A book review is the reader's personal attitude towards a book. In the book review the writer expresses his/her own opinion of the book in general. It will also contain the same factual information as the book report but these facts will be described in a more personal way.
Sometimes your professor will provide specific instructions that a book report or book review should follow but generally the structure for both types of assignments is the following:
Provide our professional writers with the title and author of your book and they will produce an original review or report according to your instructions.
